Livescribe Pulse Pen Review

As a student I have never thought of having the tool like Livescribe Smart Pen. I saw the advertisement a week ago and I instantly bought it online. Using it for three school days, I can imagine what grade I will get after the coming exam.
The Pen is extremely easy-to-use. It is just a real pen but with a built-in computer. I can record everything being said in class. Both sound and hand-writing can be recorded. It is similar to MP3 players or other recorders.
However, the Pen has more than that. It helps me easily find out the main point. I can do that by using the Pen to point particular words or graphs. Then the audio related to that will be played. I can even decrease the speed of the audio in order to clearly listen to my lecturer’s wordings. The Pen helps me get a better understanding about the lecture and so the time for doing assignment and revision is decreased.
I think the Pen is the best tool for lazy students. Even though I fall asleep in class, I can still get something from the notes and recording.
One of my friends is a very lazy student. He rarely misses lessons and even though he is physically present, he mentally is not. He asked me for help three days ago because we had a test yesterday. He wants my notes. But I can lend my notes to him because I had to study too. At that time the Pen was very useful. I uploaded my notes to my computer by the included Livescribe Desktop and emailed the files to my friend. Although the notes were only related to one lesson, he told me it helped him a lot because the lesson was, luckily, the course review.
There is also some other funny feature in the Pen. I can draw a piano and even play the piano on the notes. The sound will be produced by the Pen. It refreshes me when I am bored by the lecture notes.
I am not sure if the following disadvantage will hinder you from buying Livescribe Pen. The Pen requires special paper. If you do not have one, you cannot fully enjoy the ease of finding out the main point. It will then become a normal digital pen. However the special paper is actually very cost-effective and can be ordered online. Spending a little bit more money then you can save much more time on doing revision or assignments. I think it is totally worthy.
